Scenes from Our Weekend | Seaside Wine Festival

If you follow along on Insta @HomeofMalones, you probably saw that this Mama got a pass for the weekend to head to a girls weekend in Seaside, FL for the wine festival.  We had a blast.  These types of weekends really are good for the soul.  It felt great to only worry about me for the weekend and live in a house full of girls to dance with, get ready with, laugh with, drink with and chat about our babies with!!! One of the things I miss the most from college and my single years were getting dressed and ready for a night out with girl friends with the music blasting and make up scattered everywhere. #itsthesimplethings
We arrived in Seaside on Friday afternoon, threw our bags in the house and then headed to Rosemary Beach for lunch at La Crema and the drinks at The Pearl.  I’ve always been a vodka girl but these girls turned me into a tequila lover this weekend!  How delicious does that cocktail look??
We headed back to the house to get ready for dinner at the Watercolor Inn hotel called Fish Out of Water.

Saturday morning was the day of the wine festival.  We went to brunch at The Perfect Pig and had the most incredible breakfast sandwich of my life.  Six out of the seven girls all ordered this sandwich and we couldn’t stop talking about how delicious it was.   Plus it made for great fuel to get us through all our wine tasting that day.
We headed home after brunch to get dressed for the day.

We made it to the festival and they had this fun Photo Booth set up!!

After the festival was over, we made a quick stop by the house to do some pumping and a quick hair change and out the door we went.  We headed back to Rosemary Beach and had dinner at Edwards.  We went for a few after dinner drinks and looked like a bunch of crazies in our rainbow color wigs!!!

It felt great to get back home to the kiddos on Sunday morning after being gone.  Matt didn’t an amazing job holding down the fort with his Mom with both kids.  I really never worried for a second.

  15. You really can't beat the food at this place; they have the best vegetarian meals and the most adorable dishes for the kids. The service at event venues also was impeccable. The salad I had for dinner was delicious as well as the scallop appetizer. The main course of filet mignon and dessert soufflé was also awesome!
