Brody's 5th Birthday Party | Shark Attack

Brody turned FIVE at the end of June and we decided to throw a party for him at our house. I swore I was done throwing parties at our house because they are so much more work, but I got desperate! It was like June 20th and I had nothing planned yet and his birthday was June 27th. We decided to have a weeknight birthday and we rented a big inflatable slide from Pensacola Inflatables. He picked out this big blue shark slide, so that pretty much led to the rest of the party decor. I sent out an easy, last minute invite via Minted’s online invitations and I quickly started ordering some decorations.

I had taken the kids to get snow cones a little while back and I remembered that the owner said he loved doing birthday parties. Not only could he drive to you and make snow cones, he also had this whole system that made fake “snow” that played to music. His name is Dr. Sno Shaved Ice. It was so much fun and a huge hit to the kids!

Another friend of mine started this awesome company that puts these huge yard signs in your yard as a big surprise!!! She came over the night before Brody’s birthday at dark and put this up so that when he woke up that morning, he would get to see this!! How cute is that??? The company is called Sign Gypsies and I can’t recommend them enough. I can’t wait for my next excuse to use them!

For the food, I had Moe’s cater which was so easy and awesome. They delivered and set up all the food before the party and kept it warm until everyone ate. They make ordering online really easy too. Since we were having snow cones, I kept the dessert easy. I picked up cupcakes from Publix and then added a few cute shark picks to the top. I will link everything I can at the end of the post!
