We attempted the move to big boy bed and then went back to crib. We still have a toddler bed in his room that's just collecting dust 😉 I'm starting to think he might be ready to move but then again I'm not sure I'm ready for it yet. Keep me posted on how it goes!

Wait until you have time to deal with the up and down and getting out of bed that sometimes happens when transitioning. Make it a big deal and we always started with naps first. Bed rails are great and putting the bed against a corner wall. And as far as the book reread a zillion times too, normal, normal, normal – as a preschool teacher, mom and grandmother, it bother us more, but to them it is essential in the pre-reading skills needed. I know, deep, but hey, you asked for tips.
