Time for another party!!!  I threw a Master’s party with a friend a few years back and had some items left over that I thought could make the cutest Masters party tablescape! I was right! I had the best time pulling from items that I owned but then also adding this fun strip of turf as a table runner and these cute golf tee picks.

How adorable are these personalized cups, plates and koozies??  These are all from my girls at Nico & Lala as well as the cute food tents and water bottle labels.  I need to make sure I restock a few items for next year!

Next I just grabbed anything cute I had that was green or yellow around the house.  You don’t have to overthink tablescapes too much.  Try to grab items that you already have on hand. I had some natural rattan vases that I used and grabbed some white flowers and yellow tulips from the grocery store.

I loved adding simple details like a golf ball on top of the faux grass name card holders (old) I owned or the cute mini golf cart figurine.  This golf ball container made for a cute vase too!

Don’t forget the egg salad sandwiches!!

Welcome to one of my favorite Thanksgiving tablescapes to date! Last year after Thanksgiving, I purchased these Thanksgiving turkey plates on major sale and knew they would be the focal point to my table the following year.  I think my exact plates are most sold out but this set is very similar.

My favorite thing to do when I am scheming up a new tablescape is to make these collages like the one below.  I have been doing it for years and it helps me visualize and put a color scheme together.  It helps me see what I may already own and what I may want to purchase for the table setting and it gives me a great base.   I can’t recommend this enough if you are new to tablescaping or have been doing it for years!

For this tablescape, I was lucky enough to have already owned a lot of the items that I was putting together.  My favorite new purchase for this tablescape were these incredible brown mushroom lights that I had been eyeing for a year at a much higher price and found them on Walmart for $9 each!!!  It was of the best dupes I have found in a long time.  I was very excited.  I bought 3 of them to put on my table.

The other thing I had to purchase were these beautiful placemats from Cailini Coastal.  I loved the way they looked on the table and tied the blues and the browns together.  One thing that is so important to note when doing a table, is to never stress if you don’t have enough.  In this case, I was setting a table for 10 people and I only purchased 8 of those placemats.  I looked through my house and tried to see what I might be able to use in the extra two seats and found these great wooden tree trunk chargers that Ive owned from Target (I can only find them here now) for years and used those at the head of the tables.

For the center of the table, I laid out some faux greenery that I already owned, some faux cotton stems I had on hand and then some fresh white roses.  I also sent the kids off to go pick me up some pinecones from the park and scattered those around as well.  You don’t always have to use real flowers to set a beautiful centerpiece.

I always love having candles on my table for height and ambiance and that finished off the table just perfectly.  I loved the way it turned out and I hope you did too.   I will try to link the items the best that I can, but remember to shop your own things first and then add to little by little.

Happy Happy Halloween week!!

I shared this fun black and white halloween tablescape on instagram this month and wanted it to have a little place to live here on the blog.  I tried to link as many items as I could at the bottom of the post.  These tables come together with items that I have collected over many years and each year it always delights me to add a little something new to my collection.

This year I bought this inexpensive black spider web tablecloth off of amazon as well as these little hats that I could hang from our chandelier.  I used an old cauldron that I had and put a piece of floral foam inside and added some black and white flowers as my centerpiece.  I layered my table with all the cute black and white goodies I could find in my Halloween box.  I was also gifted the most adorable acrylic ghost napkin rings from UnbeLEAFable Designs.  She is a friend of a friend who lives over in New Orleans that has some of the most adorable table and entertaining items.  Her placements are wipeable which I love and she has other great paper goods for all year round.

I hope this helps give you some inspiration for your next Halloween table.  Try to utilize what you already own and come up with a fun theme.  It doesn’t always have to be orange and black.  I love when I see fun tables outside of the box.  Oh yeah, and for this table, my daughter helped me make the place cards for the tables which were so easy and cute.  We had many cauldrons at each setting and we stuck a giant marshmallow inside which she loved, and we put a place card on a toothpick and stuck it in!

It’s only Wednesday and and this week has already been a whirlwind because Thanksgiving got picked up and put away last week only to immediately start dragging all the holiday decor down and start decorating for Christmas!

But I am here to quickly recap our Thanksgiving day because it is one of my favorite holidays to gather all our family, friends, and loved ones and sit around the table to enjoy a fabulous meal.  Every other year, I host my side of the family for a big Thanksgiving day and it truly brings me so much joy.  Yes, it is definitely a lot of work; but all so worth it in the end!

We always pray for good weather because we usually have over twenty people and need to utilize the outdoor space for tables and seating.  This year, we had a little rain scare early in the week; but mainly it was looking to be a much colder Thanksgiving for us than usual!  Thankfully the rain stayed away, but it was a bit cold with full cloud coverage.  We told everyone to dress warm and we managed to still enjoy our meal outside.

I had fun setting all the tables a little differently this year.  We order Fall flowers from Fiore in Pensacola and then I pulled from mine and my Mom’s tableware.  We have collected some fun holiday plates over the years and I love getting to have different themed tables.

It is not very often that we get all 8 grandchildren together, so we always have to summon them for a picture! A few eyes closed, but all-and-all, pretty good

I will share links the best I can for the tables capes at the end of the post.  I did love using some fun little LED lights on the tables this year and I jazzed up my simple white lights with a cute raffia lamp shade from my friend, Kelly’s, shop this year.   I also love these gold lamps so much this year, that I have bought two more.  They look pretty in different places around the house too!

For placemats, I have used some fun paper placemats from Rosanne Beck and mixed in a few that I already owned.  I also love typing up our Thanksgiving menu on Canvas and placing one on everyones seats for Thanksgiving day.  We also use name cards for everyone since there are so many of us!

For napkins this year, I used a mix of some I owned from Home Goods and Target.  Part of that was because they were still brand new and freshly pressed for me already! Some of my other napkins were all wrinkled and there was no time for ironing! I find that if I don’t get them ironed the day they come out of the dryer before I put them away, then they never get ironed.  Just a helpful tip, because that is always a tough one!

Do you have a personal favorite from the three tables?  I had a hard time choosing.  I think I love this one above with the turkey plates the best!

The kids table came out really cute this year too actually.  I had a blast making this bread cornucopia a few days before Thanksgiving this year. You can watch me make it here. I think it may have to become a new holiday tradition.

For the kids table, I always love to use some type of coloring tablecloth or placemats and then I have collected these plates from PB Kids for years now.  If I have to add to, they may be slightly different; but all the colors match up.

I love my sweet family so much and it is always so special when we have my oldest brother in town from Miami with his kids.

There is always enough food to feed an army and I love it.  We do appetizers first for a couple of hours and then its time for the big feast!

Just before we make our plates to sit, I make the whole crew come outside to take one group photo with everyone.  I always love looking back on these pictures!

It was a beautiful day with loved ones and I can’t wait for the next one!

It wouldn’t be the holidays without someone getting sick though! Friday morning after Thanksgiving, sweet Molly woke up with a fever and cough.   She broke out in a little rash too.  Never a dull moment.

If you hated to see Halloween go, you’re in luck with this post! I created a gorgeous Halloween tablescape a few weeks ago, and never actually put it to use. We were on the go all month, and I sadly had to put all of these beautiful decorations away. However, I did take plenty of photos for posterity…and so that I can recreate it next fall!

Hope you enjoy…I hope you’ll be inspired for next year, right along with me! I had a great time creating this tablescape.

I loved these adorable “witchy word plates” – “I’m here for the boos” never gets old! Each plate features a cute spooky phrase. The Hunter Blake tablecloth is versatile – it can be used for just about any fall tablescape! These cauldron-shaped soup bowls are a perfect addition, and can be used for so many things.

I really loved these pumpkin stoneware mugs from Pottery Barn. They can be used all season – before and after Halloween!

These buffalo-check napkins match perfectly with the theme, and of course, I had to put these skulls to good use! They look perfect running the length of the table!

These black goblets are super witchy looking for a spooky evening, and this ghost-themed stoneware is a perfect addition for each place setting.

As many of you know (some firsthand!) my friends and I have become quite obsessed with the game of pickleball! I know that many of my readers are players, as well. It’s such a fun and easy game – even if you are not a tennis player, this game is on a much smaller scale. It is simple to learn and just takes a little practice, even if you aren’t a natural athlete!

I decided to throw a little party for my friends and knew that Rosanne Beck’s adorable line of pickleball-themed paper goods would be perfect! I think that they actually inspired me to host the party! The pictures really tell the story here…the decorations are not only adorable, but clever too!

Happy September ladies! I can’t believe we are entering into our “Fall phase.”  I had some fun setting my first Fall table of the year using more jewel tones and playing with some fun colors.  This tablecloth is an old Julia Amory, but here is a similar one.  I loved using these gold color bamboo placemats from Fenwick Fields  and some of my favorite melamine plates that add such a nice touch.

These colors make me so happy and so does dining alfresco! I started with the most beautiful high gloss salt and pepper shakers from Addison Ross Home and their gorgeous candle sticks.  Then I had the perfect pagoda placemats from Fenwick fields to pull the colors all together.

I love this scalloped tray to corral the salt and pepper shakers and the knotted napkins from Fenwick Fields to tie it all together. I’m always reaching for my colored Estelle glasses to finish off a table. They add so much to a beautiful tablescape.
