My mom and I were just talking about spring cleaning tips today! I love having and herb garden and can’t wait until it’s warm enough here to get mine up and running. I never thought of vinegar for lipstick stains! My wineglasses and coffee mugs could definitely use that!

These are so great!! I definitely need to do this to our towels, they smell less than fresh. Our dishwasher gets that nasty mold stuff, am I the only one??

Solid post….NOTHING grosses me out more than stinky, mildew-y kitchen towels! Why are they so prone to it!!?? I’ve been throwing mine away but I’m going to try your vinegar trick and see if that helps

These are all great tips! We had a front loading washer when we first moved to this house and the mold in it was sooo gross, I don’t think the previous owner had ever cleaned it out. The washer died shortly after so we replaced it with a top loader which I love so much more!! I don’t know how they haven’t fixed it so they don’t grow mold. Love the wine glass tip too, ours always have lipstick on them.

Um, love the one about the front-loading washing machine! I swear, when we move in a few years, I’ll be getting one of those new top-loaders. I love the look of my front-loader, but goodness, having to keep it open so often is a pain! (And the lipstick from wine glasses: thank you!)

great tips! our front loader is NASTY. I am going to try this next week, i hope it helps. It really grosses me out every time I do a load of laundry. We keep the door open but our laundry room is tiny so it doesn’t get much air to ventilate.
