Scenes from our Weekend | Super Bowl

I’m sorry I’ve been MIA this week and honestly can barely get myself to the computer to make this post.  I’ve caught some kind of nasty stomach bug this week and can hardly stand even looking at the computer 🙁  Thankfully my husband has stocked me up with lots of gatorade and has helped pick up my slack around the house and with baby Brody.  I should be better soon {hopefully}!
Anyway, here’s a super quick recap of our weekend which I have to show you because I made two yummy goodies for the super bowl!
Saturday we went to a birthday party for our friends son 2nd birthday.  They had it at a little fun house with lots of toys and bouncy houses for the kids to play in.  I snapped this precious picture of my nephew playing like a big boy.  He’s almost 10 months old now and I can hardly stand it!
The two boys playing together (or at least next to each other)!
Sunday we took Brody out to the beach to have brunch and play in the sand for a bit.  He had fun playing on the playground at Crabs and running on the beach.
This picture of Matt and Brody melts my little heart.  #bestbuds
I made these pretzel bites for a super bowl party we went too.  As Lisa says, they are a bit of a labor of love; but I was so proud of myself for trying them.  They really are easy!  They just take a little time.  And people couldn’t believe I actually made them myself 🙂 Serve with some hot cheese or mustard on the side.
And these amazing chocolate chip cookies!  I added a little heath bar pieces to mine because I had them and that was delicious too.

Hope everyone has a great week and I definitely hope to be back in action soon…
