What’s Up Wednesday
I decided to join this crew {Mel, Sheaffer and Shay} and share a little What’s Up Wednesday. I love reading these and usually learning a few new things, so I thought I would write mine.
WHAT I’M REMINISCING ABOUT…
Our babymoon 3 years ago to Anguilla when I was pregnant for Madelyn. It was in May and I was around 25 weeks pregnant just like I am now. It was such a beautiful vacation and it makes me wish I was going back to Caribbean for our babymoon this year. #zika
WHAT I’M LOVING…
I am loving this Native deodorant. I know that is so lame, but its summer and I’m pregnant and to have found a safe deodorant that I love makes me so happy! It doesn’t hurt that it smells like summer too! I love the smell of coconut and vanilla!
WHAT WEVE BEEN UP TO…
We’ve been wrapping up school with Pre-K graduation last week and then gearing up for summer. We spent Memorial Day weekend enjoying some beach and pool time, doing a little fishing and avoiding the first named storm of the season.
WHAT IM DREADING…
I’m really not dreading anything as long as I can keep my sanity for summer time. It’s always a double edge sword because I enjoy the slower mornings and not rushing out the door, but not being on routine can also throw me off. We have some fun things planned for summer and camps that should give me a little time alone, so hopefully that will help!
WHAT IM WORKING ON…
I’m trying to knock out a summer to-do list of projects. I have quite a few things I’m hoping to accomplish. Here’s a look at some of our projects:
- Move Madelyn into Brody’s Room
- Potty Train Madelyn
- Update Brody and Madelyn’s Baby Books
- Organize Playroom & Craft Closet
- Organize Recipe Binder
- New Baby Book
WHAT IM EXCITED ABOUT…
Our week in Rosemary Beach that starts in less than two weeks!!! I’m so excited to spend a week with friends in family in Rosemary. We have several families coming down this year and it should be a ton of fun.

WHAT IM WEARING…
Pretty much for the last month or two, I’ve either been wearing a version of this outfit below which is an easy top with elastic waist band shorts or wearing one of my Lilly dresses. I have had a lot of luck with Lilly dresses while pregnant and also their beach cover-ups. I recently purchased a couple of new dresses and a pair of shorts that are maternity from Loft.

WHAT IM DOING THIS WEEKEND…
We really don’t have any plans this weekend. We will be enjoying some time at home before our family vacation. There are some Summer festivities going on that we will probably partake in.
WHAT IM LOOKING FORWARD TO NEXT MONTH…
Our family trip to Rosemary for sure! But Brody is also turning FIVE at the end of next month and I’m totally slacking on coming up with a birthday party for him. I have got to get my act together soon. Brody will have one week of tennis camp next month and Madelyn is also in swim lessons, so that should keep us pretty busy!
WHAT ELSE IS NEW…
It feels good to get back into some blogging and happy to start nesting around the house! We’re just over 3 months until baby girls arrival and we have a lot of fun stuff planned for this summer before she gets here. I have a fun post planned for you guys tomorrow, so be sure to join us for the Thoughts for Thursday link-up. You can write about anything! Mine is volume three of Ask Annie, a Q&A post with questions from readers. I started this series last Fall and you guys seemed to really love it and I haven’t done a new one in months. There are old questions from some of you that I think you will still enjoy.
You are just so cute pregnant! Brandon’s family is talking about Rosemary next year, so I’m going to need ALLLLLL the tips! 🙂 And yes to Southern Charm and The Bachelorette. I was really liking Ashley at first, but now she’s really irritating me; never did I think I’d be on Kathryn’s side but man!

I started using Native deodorant when I was pregnant, and seriously got hooked. Even when I would workout, I felt like I was rocking that summer smell! 🙂 And with all the nastiness that you read is in our deodorant! Yikes!
