36 Hours in Hilton Head

Last month, we went on a quick adult trip to Hilton Head, SC for one night!! It was literally less than a 36 hour trip but we squeezed so much fun into one night, it was a lovely getaway!  My brother arranged it as a last hoorah before him and my SIL welcome their 3rd baby and we are all right on board for a quick, kid-free escape.

We stayed at the Inn & Club at Harbour Town and it was really pretty on a golf course.  They were just reopening post COVID closing and were trying to find their way a bit in the new normal, but everything was super clean and all precautions were being taken.

My SIL was the best to schedule out our time in Hilton Head.  We knew everything was pretty close by and the boys were trying to fit in as much golf as they could in the two days we were there.  So when we arrived on Saturday morning, we checked in, and the girls went straight to the spa and the boys went off to their first golf outing.

We biked to our spa treatments. that were just about a mile or so down the road. The hotel has complimentary bikes you can use and everyone is biking all around the town.  We grabbed lunch right by the Spa at a place called Chow Daddy’s that was so delicious! The shrimp tacos and salads and queso/guac dip was all incredible.

I already forgot the what the name of our little spa was called but it was nice.  Nothing super fancy, but we all 4 enjoyed our services.  Two of us got facials and two got massages.

After the spa, we biked to the Harbour Town pier and saw the light house. They have some cute outdoor restaurant/bar areas and a few little shops around here.

A few of me asked about my friends adorable neon pink dress.  Here is a link for it.  This is the only one I could find.  She said she bought it from Everything but Water which doesn’t have it anymore.  Here is link to my top and my other friend in the cute purple dress was an Emerson Fry dress that I can’t find anymore either!

Before we knew it, it was time to shower and get ready for dinner.  We wanted to get a look at the beach, so before dinner we went and had drinks at the Beach Club that was part of our hotel; but a little drive away.  We had drinks at the bar there and got to take a look at the East Coast beaches. 🙂

We had dinner Saturday night at the Sage Room.  It was really good food.  The ambiance was quite mediocre.  I would say everything in Hilton Head seems to be very casual.  This restaurant was in like a strip mall area which I wasn’t expecting.  We sat outside which was a little warm, but still nice.

Sunday morning the boys were off for some more golf and every one just grabbed an easy breakfast on the go.

Us girls packed up our beach bags and hopped on our bikes again to head to the beach.  The beaches are so different than what we are used to on the Gulf Coast.  They are large with compact sand and people actually bike and can drive cars on them.  It was crazy.  But still really nice to hang out for a bit.

The boys golf course was right on the beach too and we were proud of them for snapping a photo!

After we had enough sun, we headed back to the hotel to get our things packed and left them with the concierge.  We took an Uber down to The Salty Dog Cafe to have a drink and some food.  This spot is definitely well -known in Hilton Head and had a great patio area and gift shop to grab some things for the kids.

And just like that, it was time to head home! We had such a fun time and I loved exploring this super cute beach/golf town.  I hope to get back again one day!!
