Barbequed Shrimp Recipe

I have been meaning to share this recipe with you for a while! This is an often-used recipe in my house. It’s simple, low maintenance, and great for entertaining.  This recipe makes a large amount, so if its just Matt and I, I cut it down to 25% of the recipe.

Barbequed Shrimp
Serving size 8-10 people

Ingredients

4 sticks butter
2 cups olive oil
3/4 cup Worcestershire sauce
6 tbsp black pepper
4 lemons, sliced
1/2 tsp Tabasco sauce
1 tbsp Italian seasoning
3 cloves garlic, minced
1 tsp paprika
4 tsp salt
8 lbs raw, unpeeled jumbo shrimp

Directions

Heat butter and oil in a 2-quart saucepan. Add Worcestershire sauce and next 7 ingredients. Mix thoroughly and simmer 5-7 minutes. Divide shrimp between two Dutch ovens. Pour sauce over each. Cook 6-8 minutes or until shrimp start to turn pink. Bake at 450 degrees for 10 minutes, stirring once. Serve with French bread. Don’t forget the French bread 🙂

This recipe is a crowd pleaser! Hope you enjoy!

Hi. These look like pans not Dutch ovens – do you cook on stove on Dutch ovens then transfer to sheet pan to cook on oven thanks

You can keep them in the Dutch oven and bake them in that!! But I’ve also transferred them to sheet pans before too when I was too lazy to move my oven racks to fit my Dutch oven 😂
