Whether you are a new follower or have been keeping up with my blog for years, it’s easy to tell that I love to entertain. This holiday season has gone by so quickly, but I did pull off a few holiday get togethers at our home!
Looking back over the past couple of weeks, I don’t know how everything got accomplished, especially since my three kids have been at home full time for their holiday break. My Walmart+ membership has truly saved my sanity! It has allowed me to maintain holiday traditions for my family, while remaining present for them. Whether I’m planning ahead for a larger party, or hosting an impromptu gathering, Walmart+ frees up my schedule so that I can focus on the fun parts of planning a party – rather than waiting in the checkout line!
If you have kids of any age, you know that the holiday break can be a challenging time, to say the least. On any given day, they are bored, overstimulated, looking forward to Christmas, and generally requiring our full attention…all while we could really use a break to get everything done before Christmas! My kids are no exception to this rule. The last thing I want to do is load the three of them in the car to go grocery shopping. Walmart+ allows our fridge and pantry to be fully stocked while we stay in the holiday spirit – no Grinches or Scrooges allowed!
A couple of weeks ago, I decided to have a holiday party for some of our friends and their children. I knew that I wanted the menu to be simple and kid friendly. Madelyn and Molly love to help me in the kitchen, and baking with them just seems more fun during the holidays. I had several recipes already in mind, so I put together the list of ingredients I needed and quickly ordered everything from my phone, using the Walmart app.
Every time I place an order, I can’t believe how easy and quick it is. It is just so convenient. As always, the order was delivered for free to my home, at the exact time that I requested. I am always so impressed by the accuracy of my deliveries, and the fresh, top quality of the produce in my order. Once again, I am so thankful for my Walmart+ membership and all of its perks!
