Our Weekend + Amazon Giveaway

Hi Friends! We had a lovely weekend with cooler temperatures here which was welcomed with open arms.  Friday morning I headed out the door early by myself to go meet my cousin who was about an hour away in Fairhope, AL.  I love Fairhope, but hadn’t been in a little while. It is so charming.  I just loved walking the streets and walking in a few little shops.  I can’t believe I didn’t snag a photo of her and I, but it was a wonderful visit even though it was too short!

I rounded up a few of my favorite beauty products on the blog Saturday morning in honor of the Sephora VIB Sale.  You can read my favorites here.

My SIL and FIL came by on Saturday for the morning to visit and play with the kiddos.  We just hung around the house as the kids pulled out every toy they could find.

I got showered and dressed Saturday afternoon to run to the store and get ready for my brother’s family to come over and join us for dinner.  I was in the mood to do some cooking, so I looked up some new recipes to make with our steaks that Matt was grilling.

I made a hash brown casserole that I found the recipe for online.  It was not healthy by any means and has crumbled cornflakes on top, but it was super easy and quite delicious.  I’ll share the recipe because it might be a good one for you to take to a Thanksgiving party.  I also pan sautéed some Brussels sprouts in a tuscan herb olive oil with pancetta.  I then tossed it in a smoked gouda cheese sauce.  Go ahead and start drooling… They were ridiculous.

Sunday we cooked pancakes at home and all got ready to walk to the stadium for an annual Green Egg Festival.  It was so fun.  About 20 different tents set up to cook and serve different items that they have created on the Green Egg.  All the proceeds go to three great charities as well!

Split Back Turtleneck | High Rise Jeans | Shoes

We had a great time and a fun weekend. But,  I have a big surprise for all of you today!!

This week marks four years for Home of Malone’s.

It seems impossible that time can fly so fast.  I have loved this little outlet and can not thank my readers enough.  This space would be lonely without you and I appreciate each and every kind comment that comes through. It’s you that makes me want to keep coming back each day.   I feel so lucky to have met so many amazing ladies along the way that I can actually consider friends.   Many of them were sweet enough to partner with me today to bring our readers something extra special during this holiday season…
