Rosemary Beach Uncorked Wine Festival 2019

We spent this past weekend in Rosemary Beach for an adult’s weekend! It was the annual Uncorked Wine Festival which I haven’t been to in 6 years. Our friends (and my Mom!) organized the whole weekend and it was a blast. I often times feel like I am the organizer of trips, so it was so nice to just be along for the ride 🙂

We arrived on Friday afternoon and checked out our house for the weekend. I had full intentions of going to walk around the square and take in all the beauty of one of my favorite places, but we quickly cozied up outside by our pool and outdoor fire place with a glass of wine and good company and we never made it past the house! We stayed at the Butterfly Cottage & Carriage House which was great with 5 bedrooms and 5.5 baths. Every couple had their own space which worked out great. There was even a really cool loft on the 3rd floor (which I would call a 6th bedroom but it wasn’t closed in) that we never even touched but had a queen bed, bath and tv sitting area. Since you guys often ask, I would say this is a great house for a weekend like this one where the beach was not our priority. It is further north in Rosemary, so an easy walk to the square; but a drive or bike to the beach if you are lugging kids and toys.

We used Signature 30A Catering again for our meal on Friday evening.  It was a 4 or 5 course meal and was absolutely delicious.  My Mom’s boyfriend is a wine expert, so he always picks out great wines to accompany our meals.

Saturday morning the girls all walked around the town and did some shopping.  Restaurant Paradis always has the best holiday decorations.

After shopping, it was so gorgeous that we sat upstairs at the Pearl and had a little bloody mary and mimosa fun to kick off the afternoon!

It was fun watching all the pretty set-up of the wine festival happening on Saturday morning.  We headed home to shower and get dressed for the festival.

Sunday morning we had brunch reservations at Pescado.  I just love this restaurant so much! The views and decor are amazing.

It was a great weekend and we were so sad to leave!  The cooler temperatures were nice and we lucked out with beautiful weather all weekend.

The first wine fest I went to down here was in 2013. It was so much and I was certain I would be back again soon. I can’t believe it took 6 years.
