Scenes From Our Weekend

We spent the weekend at home in Pensacola which was equal parts fun and productive!  I started my day on Friday at my favorite coffee shop that now serves Acai Bowls!!  I was so excited to try one while I did a little work on my computer. I have the stuff to make my own, but it’s so much better when someone else makes it 🙂

As I was heading home, my SIL called to ask if she could bring Brody with her and my nephew to Chuck E Cheese??? Was this my lucky day???  OF COURSE!  They were so excited.   And I was so excited because it was time for Madelyn’s nap and I had the whole house to myself for a couple of hours!!

Nesting mode fully hit this past week and I’m ready to get ALL THE THINGS done!!!  I have two months to knock out a bunch of little projects.  Update Nursery, Pack Hospital Bags, Clean out all the closets, Wash the clothes, and so many more!

This closet is in our playroom and I couldn’t look at it for one more minute! Seriously.  I’m pretty sure I’ve organized and arranged this closet 10 times, but it always ends up looking like this! Disgraceful and drives me bonkers! Sooo…I started a little clean out session and I will show ya’ll what it looks like soon.  I think I’m finally giving it the full re-do that it needs!

Saturday was so fun!  We got up early and went out on my brother’s boat.  It was really the perfect temperature because storm clouds were trying to move in, but they never ruined our day.  We got out for several hours on the boat and then went back to swim in their pool.

Ya’ll, I’ve been eyeing sunglasses that look like these below for like a year but they are $400 and I wasn’t going to spend that.  I found these dupes for $10!!!!  I love how lightweight they are and so cute!! I know they are big, but I love them!

Saturday night we had a shrimp boil for a friends engagement party and had a blast!  It was fun to dress up and get out for the night.  I pulled out this old dress from 2008 or 2009 Victoria Secret!  I hadn’t worn it since I was pregnant with Brody, but when I first bought it, I was obsessed with it!  So many sweet comments about it 🙂

On Sunday, we really didn’t have any plans.  The weather looked like it was going to rain and get a bit nasty; so we decided to bag the idea of beach or anything else.  Instead, Matt took Brody over to the new house to look at a few things and do some fishing and me and Madelyn had some girl time.  We ran to Target to get some organizing tools, had Zoe’s lunch and ran to Fresh Market.

We finished the weekend off with a little more organizing, a nice dinner and now I’m currently so excited to be watching the premier of VERY CAVALLARI as I’m writing this! Anyone else????

I don’t think I know them!! You know, I didn’t notice the eyebrows but was so annoyed by the red head. I feel like she’s going to be a terrible employee!! ahaha. The drama…so funny!

Girl, ALL my closets look like that!! I can not stand it! I told my husband I need to get a baby sitter for like, a week so I can just get this house organized before baby #2!! Side note. Do you all ever go over to Navarre Beach? I know it’s semi-close to Pensacola and we are headed there for the first time in a few weeks. Any rec (especially restaurants) would be SO appreciated!!

Love that dress! So funny because in 2008/2009 my college roommates and I were all about ordering clothes from Victoria’s Secret. They had some great things!
