Scenes From Our Weekend

Happy Monday to everyone that has Veterans Day off! We are sitting inside in our pajamas still because it is yucky and rainy outside and supposed to be like this all day long!

I mentioned that on Thursday last week that I got to attend a really fun 4 course wine pairing Italian dinner.  It was at Jackson’s Restaurant featuring new foods from Angelina’s that will be opening sometime early next year.

The food was amazing and the dinner was just a blast!

I wore this cute faux wrap dress from Draper James that I loved and was so comfortable.

The kids while I was at dinner 🙂

My friend Courtney was the Mystery Reader in our kids class last week and she dressed up as a pilgrim and brought these precious turkey treats for the kids.  I was dying laughing at this pilgrim outfit! I loved it so much.  You might remember two weeks ago when I dressed up as a cat for the mystery reader???   These turkeys could be a cute activity with your kids.  Its just a pretzel, rolo, M&M and candy corn!

On Saturday, we had a pretty low-key day.  We went out to lunch for a bit because it was gorgeous.   I ran into some friends, so it was fun to visit.

The kids portraits from Leon Loard came in last week and I die over the cuteness :). I’ve been so excited about these!! I love the size and they turned out so beautiful.

Saturday evening we watched football and ordered in with the kids! It was a beautiful night.  Brody snapped this picture of me and the girls right before sunset.  We found my tunic in the hot pink color that I love here.

Sunday was my MIL birthday.  My SIL came in town and I took them to the Market Basket that the Junior League puts on.  It was a cute set of vendors getting ready for some holiday shopping.  I bought a couple of cute silent auction items and Molly got to have her first photo with Santa!

Sunday night we grilled steaks and celebrated her birthday!! It was a fun weekend with family!

Have a great week!!

Your kids are so cute! I love the portraits, those are beautiful. The turkey craft looks fun, but also dangerous. I love me some rolos! I may have to make those for my little guy. He loves anything with a theme. 🙂
