Scenes From Our Weekend

What a fun weekend to kick off November ! It was jammed packed with lots of fun.  We started the weekend off on Thursday night at a charity fashion show event benefitting the Pensacola Opera that myself and a couple of girl friends were on the committee for.  We recruited a bunch of friends to join us for the event and it turned out to be a night that exceeded all expectations!  A local boutique, Scout, put on an absolutely fabulous fashion show and had a vision that was executed so perfectly!

Friday

Friday was a special couples lunch at one of our very favorite restaurants, Jackson’s!

Saturday

Saturday was spent wrapping up the end of soccer season! All three kids played soccer this Fall and we had our last games this weekend!! Its been such a fun season for all 3 kids with wonderful teams and coaches!

Saturday night we watched football at a friends house! She had an amazing spread of delicious food!

Sunday

We took the kids to breakfast at one of our favorite spots Sunday morning and then took a trip to Lowes to look for some Christmas decorations.  We relaxed for most of Sunday afternoon and then went over to our friends house for a Sunday evening supper club dinner!  The host made a homemade pumpkin and sage pasta that was delicious and we had a yummy fall salad and phyllo wrapped brie and prosciutto appetizer with honey drizzle.  It was all so delicious!

Phew, this weekend took a little time to recover from but it was so worth it!

I’m still trying to finish up my book reviews from last month for you guys because there was some good ones and I’m also trying to figure out how I want to share gift guides this year!

No he never played soccer growing up, so he’s just a spectator! I helped coach one of the kids teams.
