Scenes From Our Weekend | Tennis, Derby, Family, and Mothers Day

Happy Monday!!! We had a fun-filled weekend of lots of activities this weekend and family visiting from Montgomery!  So I’ll get right into it starting with Thursday evening which pretty much kicked off the weekend for us this week.

Thursday evening we had our first annual charity event for my kids school.  It was an adult-only, evening event at our Yacht Club with lots of hard work put in by our PTA and other parent- volunteers. The event turned out so nice and lots of money was made for our school, so I know everyone was so proud and felt like all their hard work had paid off!  I didn’t get any pictures from the event, but we snagged one cute one before we got there 😉

Friday morning I hosted my tennis team for an end-of-the-year luncheon at my house!  My team won their flight this season, so it was a fun celebration!  We seriously have the cutest team!  I had a blast putting together a “tennis-themed” tablescape, so I will share that with you girls tomorrow or Wednesday!!

Friday evening, all of Matt’s family from Montgomery came to town to stay with us and spend the weekend.  We had the most gorgeous weather all weekend, it was amazing.   We loaded up all 13 of us into the house for the weekend and took advantage of the perfect weather.

We woke up Saturday morning and picked up some ChickfilA to-go to eat for lunch at the beach.  The water was so pretty at the beach and there was just enough of a cool breeze, that we never once got hot!

My suit and the girls is from LainSnow. Items sell out very quickly and the site is mostly set up for launch days. So follow them on Instagram to get all the launch info.

The kids all buried and happy!

Saturday evening was the Kentucky Derby and it was our friends 40th birthday and they threw an epic Derby party.  I wasn’t sure if I would actually make it to the party with family in town, but I was able to sneak away for half of it and it was pretty spectacular.  They had a cocktail hour first at Jackson’s and then everyone walked one block to the Pensacola Little Theater to watch the Derby take place!  They played the Derby on the huge screen and had more cocktails and popcorn for everyone to enjoy!!

It was definitely worth a quick change from the beach to get Derby ready!!

My dress is an old Ulla Johnson and hat is old from Etsy.  Shoes can be found here. And Purse.
My sister in laws cute blue ruffle dress.

I made it home for dinner time and a gorgeous sunset!! We ate dinner outside, played with cousins and attempted to do a little fishing.

We took the boat out and parked up at one of our favorite spots and let the kids swim and play.  Once it was lunch time, we boated over to Paradise to grab a quick lunch before we had to head home.  We jumped in the pool for a bit once we got home because it has warmed up perfectly! We kissed our family goodbye as they had to get on the road back home and Matt cooked me a steak dinner to close out the weekend!
