Scenes From Our Weekend

This week Matt was out of town, but thankfully I had some pretty fun things planned.  On Friday, we celebrated a friend’s birthday at a favorite lunch spot, Jackson’s.  We had such a fun crew and loved getting to catch up.  The hard part about lunch, is that we had to make sure not to slip and say anything to the birthday girl, because that night her husband had planned a surprise birthday for her!

I got home from lunch about 3pm and then had to turn around and get ready for the surprise birthday dinner at 530pm!  It was such a fun night.  We were picked up in a party bus and then headed to her house to all surprise her for the night.  We had dinner at the Lee House with private chefs Brooke Parkhurst and James Briscione who are helping to open Pensacola’s newest Italian restaurant, Angelena’s.

I’m so excited for it to open. The food was amazing with all homemade pasta!  Italian is just my favorite.  It was such a fun party.

Saturday afternoon we had a birthday party for some friends at a farm.  The kids got to ride ponies, horses, tractors and climb dirt hills.  It was such a cute party.  I had all three kids by myself for the party, but they were such troopers.  I was actually surprised at how smooth it went.

Matt got home on Saturday evening just before bedtime which was so fun.  We had a super productive day on Sunday getting stuff done around the house and then decided to walk for an early dinner/late lunch at Jacos.

It was the most gorgeous night, perfect sunset, and great end to the week!
