Scenes From Our Weekend

This weekend was one of those nice ones where we went into it with not a single plan other than a Saturday morning soccer game.  The rest of the weekend would just fall into place how ever it landed!

We woke up Friday morning to some absolutely gorgeous weather.  Matt took Brody to school early that morning and I had both of the girls with me.  I threw them in the stroller early and thought we would just go for a quick walk (they were still in their pajamas), but we ended up walking around for two hours! They were so good.  We went to the park at the Wahoos stadium, then to Imagination Station kid zone at the stadium and then walked to my favorite coffee shop at Bodacious.

After a nice long walk outside, we headed home to meet my Mother In Law.  She was coming to hang with the girls for a bit.

I quickly showered and then got dressed to meet my friend Carli for lunch at Carmens.  It was so nice to sit outside and catch up!

After lunch, my Mom and I hit a couple of shops downtown and then we went and picked up Brody from school.  These two boys are so cute riding the bus home together every day!

Brody had soccer Friday night and then we went to the Yacht Club for dinner.  It was fun because we ended up having my whole family there plus a bunch of our friends were eating up there too!

Saturday morning, Brody had a 9am soccer game.  We made plans to go to our friends house after the game to watch hang out and watch football for the day.  We ended up there all day and had a blast.

Courtney and Jared cooked a bunch of food and I made these Crack Sausage Balls with Ranch Dressing that were delicious.

We spent the afternoon outside and the kids jumped in the bounce house and played.  I brought Molly’s pack N play and she took a 3 hour nap while we were there which was awesome 🙂

Sunday morning was a great day to re-group!  I still had birthday party decorations all around the house and things were still a mess.  So we tried to pick up and get it back together.   We also cleaned out our garage which felt great!

Sunday evening we went over to my Mom’s house for a family dinner.  Brody has been begging Matt to take him fishing, so they fished on her dock before dinner and he caught a HUGE catfish!! It was so cute.  He loves it.

My Mom cooked us Veal Scallapine and it was delicious.  She’s the BEST cook!  We had a great early dinner and then it was time for bed.

Hope everyone had a great weekend !
